Delandrea Share Click image to listen Originally from the South of France, near Toulouse (the city Rose), Delandrea is a French rapper whose particularity is to rap in English. He was born on May 15, 1993, in Albi, In the Tarn (Occitanie). It is inspired by a spiritual, mystical, supernatural and paranormal universe. His rap style is rather directed in dark, strange and wacky tones. The 1st EP - Cursed Angel released on May 17, 2020 presents the introspective and mysterious world of young rapper Delandrea.

Jill Winter Share Click image to listen Jill Winter grew up surrounded by music and at the age of 14 was playing the bar and club scene of NY. Being a versatile musician, both instrument wise and stylistically, she had opportunities to play in various bands (Charting NMW and Gavin Top 40) and opened for many National and International Acts such as Eddie Money, Lucas Prata, Twisted Sister, Bret Michaels, Jason Bonham and more. Jill was a founding member and co songwriter of the band Jac&Jill, recorded with a grammy award winning producer and played many world renowned venues, including, Roseland Ballroom, Webster Hall, B.B. King's, The Best Buy Theater, as well as many festival stages. Currently, Jill has launched her solo career and added lead vocals to her repertoire, with the release of her first single 1978 which has been remixed by two Billboard Charting Producers 1978 [Disco Radio Edit] (Klubjumpers Remix) 1978 [Radio Edit] (Peter Monk Mix) as well as other releases which are influenced by her love of Pop, Dance and Rock music. Jill's most recent release is an updated version of the theme to the beloved Chevy Chase movie "Christmas Vacation" in honor of it's 30th anniversary in 2019. Jill is also writing and recording new music for release in 2020.

Born into music, for many years I produced and DJ'ed under a different name. I hit rock bottom around 2018 or so, and had given up music for about 6 months when I had a revelation. Blend the best parts of EDM with Rock, Alternative, Pop, Dubstep, etc. and fuse it all into something radio friendly and very melodic. I team up with a bunch of different vocalists and try to come up with unique, one of a kind sounds that you'll want to listen to over and over.

I want to make music that resonates with people, they listen and they interpret it in their own unique way. To them it means something, reminds them of a moment or they just relate to it. When you hear that song and it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, it gives you a buzz. Because you associate it with an event, a time, a place. A feeling of euphoria. I hope my Dance/ EDM/House songs make those hairs stand up. 26th September and What I See was released; 1 week later BBC Radio York Introducing made it their record of the week and were likened to Underworld and The Chemical Brothers. 13th March 2020 saw the release of our latest track How You Make Me Feel. An energetic feel good piano house dance track with the amazing vocals of Claire Adele and also a remix by Hootgun. Reach Up!! The thumping Bass house, Piano house banger was released and it landed with a bang. With nearly 20k streams to date, 75 playlist adds, shares to Future House Cloud Radio and plays on Kane FM and BBCintroducing York . Made with collaboration from Diamond Lounge and the track having been mixed by Lucas Michalski of Lumic Studios... What’s next. 7th September 2020 saw Get Into It being dropped. < Back “The Catfish” by The PhD Can's Headphones Dec 9, 2020 2020 has been a really shit year. Absolutely trash. A dumpster fire at its finest. Imagine to my surprise to find out, that some of my favorites independent artists decided to form a sort of supergroup. The PhD debuts People of the Parallel, High Hyena, and Diamond Lounge in an epic blues-rock performance. If you aren’t familiar with the three I mentioned above, it won’t necessarily affect your listening experience (if you’re a super fan comment what PhD means at the end of the writeup) but it would greatly impact your understanding of where this fusion of genres came from. In fact, I’m going to resist every urge I have to elaborate on what that means. But it’s awesome, and after you finish this write up you definitely need to go check out those three as individuals. Enough gushing though. ‘The Catfish’ by the PhD is what has brought us all here. It’s a great song. I want to start with the fusion of blues and progressive rock. It is a sickly sweet melody/rhythm combination that does a better job of hooking the listener than most pop songs do. The composition of this song is pretty outstanding. We’re talking guitar riffs, heavy synths, clean-cut prog-rock kits - the whole shebang. I’m not super sure who all did vocals on this - if it was all 3 of you congrats on getting such a clean cut with hundreds of miles between y’all. Regardless of who did the vocal, they are clean-cut, high octane, full throttle, and everything you could want out of such an energetic piece. ‘The Catfish’ is an excellent testament to the abilities of The PhD as a group of electronic artists coming together for such an epic collaboration. So without enough words or understanding of the universe to fully explain how amazing this hodgepodge of vastly different EDM artists came together to make this beautiful masterpiece, I once again must urge you to listen to ‘The Catfish’ by The PhD. I would cry if this is the last song they put out, but I also know I’d probably be able to die a happy, content, southern Louisiana bayou crawdad-man.
