Clare Estelle is a UK singer songwriter. Her love of music began as a small child when she trained as a classical pianist from the age of eight. She has also been classically trained as a singer. She began composing songs on the piano from a young age and her musical background was to lead her to study TV Production at Ravensbourne University. After working for 12 years in TV Post Production Audio as a Dubbing Mixer in London Soho facility houses and for BSKYB. She has now returned to her first love of music and is recording her back log of songs, writing new songs and collaborating with other artists. Her songs are poetic, lyrical stories which evoke a mental narrative while listening to them. She composes them on either the piano or the guitar and on one occasion in her sleep, through her dreams. The genre of her music is Ethereal Gothic Rock and also falls into the Prog Rock category. Her music has a spiritual quality with hints of her early classical background. The strong use of harmonies in her songs stems from her love of choral music influenced by the likes of Thomas Tallis. She believes music has the power to heal and is happy to explore provocative themes in order to bring them to attention. Her songs are based on her personal experiences, relationships and everything in the world that inspires her.
